Tennis Bags - What to carry?
It is becoming more and more common for players to take a bag of personal effects on to court as well as their racket / kit bag.
On all counts, this is an excellent idea, allowing you ready access to anything you may need during the course of a match.
Try and select a tennis bag this is sturdy, well made and invulnerable to the inevitable water spill. When packing the bag, try and consider what you might need during a game; many players learn exactly what their needs are by not having an item when they need it, thus reminding them to take it in future.
A good rule of thumb is to take a change of clothes should they be needed, due to sweat or any other incident. A second set of sweat-preventing bands should also be included, both for the wrist and head. Water is a necessity, preferably not too cold as this can shock the system, particularly during hot games. And remember, if you find during a game there is something you need but don't have, pack it in future!
